Airis is currently in its testing phase and is only available to the Gastroenterology Department at University of Louisville. Other UofL departments will be granted access later in the year.

Healthcare providers can view the current physician on-call schedule and can easily call, page and soon instant message each other on Airis, all while meeting HIPAA security requirements.

Airis works by integrating with exisiting hospital communication systems and tying them all together on one platform accessible by any smartphone or desktop with internet access.
